Ferrybridge Workshops boasts an extensive array of heavy machine tools, including some of the largest CNC and manual lathes, milling machines, and borers in the UK, making it a premier destination for heavy engineering subcontract work. Complementing this impressive equipment, the workshops are equipped with cranes capable of handling components, fabrications, and assemblies weighing up to 120 tonnes.
We offer a range of heavy machining capabilities, including manual turning up to 4 meters in diameter and 17 meters in length, CNC turning up to 2.5 meters in diameter and 12 meters in length, vertical boring up to 6 meters in diameter, and CNC 5-axis horizontal milling and boring up to 14 meters long, 4 meters wide, and 4 meters high.
